Philanthropy is at the heart of Emmanuel College’s history, success and values. Our donors choose to give to Emmanuel College because they know their actions transform lives and we are so grateful for our communities ongoing generosity.
Our students take the lessons and values learned at Emmanuel College and go on to make meaningful contributions to society’s culture, knowledge, and wellbeing. Our college alumni are contributing knowledge and support across all areas of society, using their talents for the betterment of others through business, law and politics, the arts, medicine, science and technology, sport and more.
Your gift is part of their success, so join us in supporting the next chapter of Emmanuel’s journey and make a transformative impact on our students lives.
The Emmanuel College Warrnambool Foundation inspires the gift of philanthropy to underpin its capital growth requirements and the annual college scholarship program supporting students to learn, thrive and succeed, and to sustain the College as a leader and innovator.
The Foundation's mission is to enhance College programs and services through the development and management of private contributions and close partnerships between the College and its alumni, community and corporate partners. The Foundation will provide the College with additional resources that encourage enrolment access, academic excellence, and capital improvements that make an Emmanuel College education accessible to a broader cross section of the local community.
The Foundation’s actions will be guided by the following principles:
The Foundation’s work is conducted with honesty, integrity, confidentiality and respect. We value the resources entrusted to our care by donors and partners, and we honour this trust through professional administration, prudent financial stewardship, and transparent communication.
The Foundation is accountable to the college community, striving at all times for professionalism and quality in its work and adherence to fundraising standards.
The Foundation will ensure diligent and appropriate stewardship of donors and supporters of the college. Demonstration of sound management of philanthropic resources for the good of the college, students and community.
The Foundation will demonstrate a deep respect for differences by actively seeking, celebrating and creating opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to attend the college. The work of the Foundation will enhance opportunities that create equity in access and opportunity so all students, regardless of backgrounds or beliefs, can succeed.
The Emmanuel College Warrnambool Foundation recognises the necessity and the importance of having a robust corporate governance framework which ensures funds received, whether donated or through services provided, are appropriately managed and directed to meet the expectations of the Foundation’s benefactors and the College at large. As a member of the ACNC, the Foundation is committed to meet each of the ACNC’s Governance Standards.
