Glenys Phillpot OAM was a Warrnambool City Councillor for thirteen years, including four terms as Mayor. She was Chair of the Art Gallery Advisory Committee and served as a member of the Deakin University Council for four years. Glenys is a Director of Peters Project Foundation, Chair of the Lookout Residential Rehabilitation Steering Committee and has been on the Western Region Alcohol and other Drugs (WRAD) Committee of Management since 1999.

Glenys worked in financial planning and superannuation at Sinclair Wilson for 20 years and she and her husband Bill have five children and 12 grandchildren.

The work that is being done is inspiring, aspirational and will lead to a better and more fulfilling future for so many.

In 2023 we have a grandchild starting the Emmanuel journey, with more to follow. I want the best opportunities and challenges for them, and the many other young people who are the informed future of our community”.
