Finn O’Sullivan, North Melbourne’s top selection and the no.2 overall pick in the 2024 AFL Draft, made a memorable AFL debut in the Kangaroos’ season opener against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium on March 15.

In his debut match, O’Sullivan demonstrated his adaptability by playing across half-back, earning praise for his performance. His family watched proudly as he took this significant step in his AFL career.

Kayla Grant has once again been recognised for her outstanding contributions to the community. As the owner of Black Crow Barbers, Kayla was recently honoured with the Inspiring Women of Moyne Award for her advocacy in mental health.

Kayla’s barbershop has become more than just a place for a fresh cut—it’s a safe space where conversations about mental health are encouraged and welcomed. Despite facing personal challenges over the past year, including health battles and emergency surgery, she has continued to support those around her with compassion and honesty.

Her openness about her struggles has helped others feel seen and heard, proving that sometimes, a simple conversation can make all the difference. Kayla’s ability to uplift and empower her clients is truly commendable, and this award is a well-deserved recognition of her dedication.
